Privacy Policy

Hall Bible Commentary is Aaron Joseph Hall’s personal Bible teaching library. This policy explains how information is handled when you read the site, send a request, or use an authorized administrator account.

Information we receive

You can read the public library without creating an account. When you send a speaking or permission request, we receive the name, email address, message, and any organization or event details you provide. Please do not include passwords, financial information, or sensitive information about yourself or other people.

Administrator accounts include an email address and authentication information. Private manuscripts, uploaded files, editing history, and source excerpts are stored to support the writing and review process. These materials are not made public merely because they are uploaded; publication is a separate action.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, timestamps, and errors to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to requests, manage the teaching library, authenticate the administrator, prevent abuse, and maintain the website. We do not sell personal information or use submitted requests for targeted advertising. This site does not currently add advertising cookies or audience analytics scripts.

Service providers and embedded media

Vercel provides hosting, and Supabase supports authentication, the database, and private file storage. They process information needed to provide those services. Their infrastructure may process information outside your country. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice and Supabase’s Privacy Policy.

When an administrator explicitly uses a configured external AI provider to help arrange sermon material, the selected source text is sent to that provider for processing. This feature is for the administrator; it does not send visitors’ inquiry messages to AI. Source-only settings limit the material used for drafting, but do not mean an external provider receives no data. Provider terms and retention practices also apply.

Embedded video, audio, images, and links may connect your browser to third-party services. Those services may receive your IP address and browser information and use their own storage technologies. Follow their privacy notices when using their services. The site’s disclaimer acknowledgment is not consent to third-party tracking.

Cookies and local storage

Sign-in cookies support authenticated sessions. Your browser may also store a record that you dismissed the reading disclaimer, along with files and visited Bible pages for offline reading. See the Cookie Notice for details and controls.

Retention and security

Requests and administrative records are kept while needed to respond, maintain the library, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. They are not automatically erased when you close the browser. Retention may differ for provider logs and backups. We limit access to private administrative material, but no website or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted by emailing aaron@jubileecity.church, with “Hall Bible Commentary privacy” in the subject. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights, including access, objection, or a complaint to a privacy authority. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons.

Children

The public library can be read without submitting personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information should contact us so we can address it.

Updates

This notice may change as the website changes. The revision date below identifies the current version. Material changes to information practices will be explained through an updated notice and any additional notice or choice required by applicable law.
