Terms of Use

These terms describe the permitted use of Hall Bible Commentary, a personal teaching library by Aaron Joseph Hall. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy, Content Policy, and Permissions page.

Reading and sharing

You are welcome to read the site and share links to its pages. Original commentary, articles, sermons, and other original material are protected by copyright. Except where permitted by applicable law or an express license, reproducing, adapting, translating, selling, or republishing that material requires written permission. Sending a permission request does not itself grant permission.

The World English Bible text is in the public domain and is distinct from Aaron’s original teaching. Material credited to another author remains subject to that author’s rights. These terms do not restrict uses that the law allows without permission.

Responsible use

Do not attempt unauthorized access to the writing desk, interfere with the site, send unlawful or abusive submissions, impersonate another person, or use the site to infringe someone else’s rights. Automated access must not disrupt service or bypass access controls. Administrator access is limited to authorized users, who are responsible for protecting their credentials.

Requests and submissions

Provide accurate information in speaking and permission inquiries and include only material you have the right to share. We may use your submission to review and respond to your request; submitting it does not transfer ownership of your work. A speaking request is not a confirmed booking. Any engagement or reuse permission must be separately agreed in writing.

Teaching and availability

The library is offered for Bible study and general information. Commentary reflects Aaron’s understanding at the time of writing and may be corrected, expanded, or revised. It is not Scripture and is not a substitute for reading Scripture in context, personal pastoral care, or qualified medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.

We aim to provide useful, accurate material, but do not guarantee that every page is complete, current, error-free, or continuously available. Links, services, and content may change. External links do not imply endorsement of everything on the linked site.

Limits and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted service or suitability for a particular purpose. Aaron Joseph Hall is not responsible for loss caused by third-party services, interruptions, or reliance on errors in the material, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
